My Experience with Cancer

I saw a small pink raised bump on my arm a few months ago that didn’t go away. Something inside of me said to get it checked out, eventhough it didn’t look like much. I had it biopsied and it came back positive for melanoma. I felt like I got knocked in the face with a two by four! I called a surgeon I work with and I had it removed on 7/21/09. My pathology report came back clear. My CT and blood work are normal, and I have no swollen lymph nodes…Thank you GOD! I go see an oncologist in a few weeks and go from there.

Reading, watching movies, trying out new vegan, playing with my dogs.

Music

Favorite bands are Queensryche, Incubus, Steve Perry/Journey Dokken, Judas Priest, old school metal bands. I like all types of music, depends on my mood.
