My husband was diagnosed with Stage IV stomach cancer in July. His prognosis is 8 to 10 months. This week will be his fourth chemo treatment. We were told that at this time the chemo was for palliative care to help with the symptoms of the cancer. It is a brutal cancer(as they all are) that has caused him to lose over 60 lbs this year and have kidney failure along with many tests and surgeries. There is no early screening and by the time the symptoms were noticable he was hospitalized.
I love music-gardening-social networking-home improvement and anything that builds my knowledge.
I read anything that keeps my interest for at least five minutes.
Music is somewhat a passion. I love all genres of music and can’t say there’s any that I don’t like. Well, ok maybe a few.
I like all types of movies. Horror being my favorite but from time to time I enjoy a good make you cry chick flick.
My kinda peole are down to earth, honest and not afraid to speak their mind, If this is you, I’d love to chat.
I would like to have someone to share things with. Cancer has proved to be the biggest life changing experience I have ever had. I would like to learn about others who have found ways to ease the symptoms for their loved one with cancer or who know of a new drug that could help. Someone who will listen or needs a friend to listen.I need to know there is hope for my husband. Not as much for me as for him.
Time waits for no one; Treasure every moment you have.

My name is Stephanie and I am caring for my husband who has cancer. We have been married for five years. We are happy, sad, stressed and still very much in love. We love the outdoors, our animals and cherish every moment that life brings us no matter how large or small. We still have the occasional arguement over stupid things but for the most part find that it’s just not worth the fight. We are focusing our fights on the education and cure of this monster that has taken over our world.
