My Experience with Cancer

I am a foster parent to a TOUGH little boy who has survived bilateral retinoblastoma. He was diagnosed on July 31, 2007–the day before his 1st birthday. He had his left eye removed in Feb. 2007, he completed his 12 cycles of chemo in May 2008. The cancer returned to his right eye in January 2009. He had his right eye removed in Feb. 2009. He will be 3 years old this Aug. 1, 2009. He is a SURVIVOR !! :)

Hobbies

Playing with Little D, shopping, going to parks and zoos, going to the beach, watching my daughter play basketball, talking to my other daughter on the phone, going to birthday parties for my neices and nephews, reading, etc.:)

Jodi Picoult is my favorite author and Dr. Suess of course :)

KT Oslin, Ann Murray, Helen Reddy, Kenny Rogers, Rod Stewart, too many more to mention :)

A Walk in the Clouds, Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory–the original one :)

My Kind of People

People with a positive outlook on life. People who are kind to others :)

Reason for Being Here

Praying for others that are needing prayers and recieving prayers from others that are praying for us :)
