My Experience with Cancer

I, myself do not have cancer, but I have had friends and family affected by it…I mean, who hasn’t. My grandfather died of lung cancer. I have 2 great aunts that survived breast cancer & another great aunt who died from cancer in her kidneys. I have one friend who survived testicular cancer and another that survived Lymphoma.

Hobbies

Skydiving, Kayaking, rock climbing, being outside whenever possible, whether that be walking around a lake, boating or going to the beach. I also like to paint…very abstract…crochet & make jewelry. I pretty much like to try anything I can.

Music

Well, when I want to shake my booty, I like to listen to some Lil Wayne, Danity Kane, Ciara, Madonna, Britney Spears….anything that has a good beat to get me up and a shaken! When I’m in a more chill mode, I like to listen to some good jazz as well as some Zero 7, Thievery Corp, Cantoma, Sia, Enigma, telepopmusik and so much more… Some other musical likes are SiSe, Incubus, The Beatles, Bjork, Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix, Cary Brothers, Coldplay, Dave Matthews, Gorillaz, Linkin Park (love to work out to them) & Gnarls Barkley. I could go on and on….

Movies

Closer, Garden State, Love Actually, Step Brothers, V for Vendetta, Kill Bill/Lord of the Rings/Harry Potter Movies.

My Kind of People

I like all people and enjoy learning about them, but the people I keep close are ones that have a positive outlook on life, who aspire to live in the now and continually push themselves to be a better little human being.

Reason for Being Here

I’m here to support the cause of finding a cure for this wide spread disease. To support all that have been affected by it.
