Inclusion Criteria:



- gynecologic tumor scheduled for resection

Exclusion Criteria:

- prior reaction to statins

- renal insufficiency

- liver disease

- h/o alcoholism

- prior h/o DVT or hypercoagulability

- concurrent medicatins that signicantly affect cytochrome P450 3A4

- breast feeding or pregnancy
