Inclusion Criteria:



- Diagnosis of non-small lung cancer

- No prior chemotherapy

- Able to care for self

Exclusion Criteria:

- An ongoing infection

- Pregnancy or breast feeding

- Other serious medical condition

- Cancer that has spread to the brain

- Inability to take folic acid
