No matter what industry you work in, you will inevitably face some kind of danger or health risk. Some industries are much worse than others when it comes to health risks, though. Mining

Working as a miner is one of the most dangerous jobs on the planet. Not only do you have to work down in a mine shaft that could collapse at any moment, you also have to be subjected to fumes that aren’t exactly good for you. Desk Jobs

You might think that just because you sit behind a desk in your office, you are basically safe. In reality, desk jobs are known to carry some health risks with them. One of the problems with a desk job is that you are typically very inactive while you are working. Working as an exterminator also carries some health risks with it. In this type of job, you go to buildings and houses to spray poisons and chemicals to kill pests. Obviously, being subjected to poisons and deadly chemicals all day long can have some health risks. With modern procedures, many exterminators can limit their exposure to these chemicals. However, through the normal course of doing your job, you will inevitably come across some dangerous chemicals.

Fishing

One of the most dangerous jobs in the world is fishing. According to statistics, about .2 percent of fishermen die every year from on the job injuries. When you engage in deep sea fishing, you never know what could happen on the boat. When a storm comes up, it can lead to a lot of turbulence on the boat. When this happens, heavy equipment could fall on you or you could be knocked overboard. Regardless of how careful you are as a fisherman, there is a good chance that you could be injured or killed on the job.

Firefighter

Last but certainly not least, working as a firefighter is also a very risky job. When you go into a fire, there’s always a chance that you could breath deadly fumes or  be trapped inside a burning building at some point.
